hurray!

Our K12 packages came today! We got about 6 big boxes full of stuff. We anticipate it with great excitment and then when they arrive it's like Christmas! The boys were most excited about their math books because they love math. We are doing another math program and the k12 math is supplement, so I told them the k12 math workbooks can be for them. They love going through and doing the pages....they definitely get their love for math from Todd and NOT from me!! I was never too bad at it, I just didn't like it. They also like their handwriting without tears workbooks because there are lots of pictures to color on each page after they write their letters. This is why homeschool works so well for us-- the boys love learning so I don't have to fight them.

happy birthday kerry AND Violet!!

Today my sister Kerry had her birthday AND had her first baby!!

Welcome to the club, Kerry! You'll be a fantabulous mother! I can't wait to meet her and tell her I'm her favorite Auntie...

The birthday girl

She loved having these balloons around her and crawling around. She did it yesterday and a couple times today. Crazy birthday girl! Don't worry, I was watching her the whole time.

P.S. The house was messy so I debated about putting it up, but it was too cute. It's now 2:49am and it's clean.

Poor Ryan and Shannon

Poor Ryan and Shannon (my brother and his wife)! They've had some bad luck. While driving to our house yesterday, their hood flew off their car and put a crack in the windshield and dented the top of the car. When they came to our house, they reported that the hood was in a field somewhere in Springville. This was the car they were taking to AR (that's Arkansas) in a week and a half. (Yes, that is duck tape holding on the front bumper.)

Katie's First Birthday Party

Today we had Katherine's first birthday party. We had a kindermusik lady come to do a kindermusik party for Katie and some of her baby friends. It was a garden theme because her name is Katherine Lily. This year has FLOWN by! Here are a bunch of pictures and a short video at the end:
