Day 3:
I woke up again at 11. We had breakfast at noon. I tried to make pancakes but I added too much water so we just had left over pizza. We got ready and went to the elementary school to get leveled reading books (we go once a week). We came home and did scripture study. Scripture study has been really good the past few days. It's hard to explain, but I've been able to explain it well (make it into a story, the kids didn't even want me to stop reading today), relate it to a concept (with King Benjamin we talked about general conference and baptism and the sacrament), sometimes relate it to one of their memorized scriptures (Abinadi and Alma and D&C 18:15), and I've felt the spirit.
Then we did reading time where they read books to me.
Then we got dressed in our Halloween shirts again and went to Gardner's village in West Jordan. It has little shops in a village and they had face painting, a ton of witch decorations, they went on a witch hunt to find certain witches and they turned in their papers for a cookie, etc. We also had orange hot chocolate that was really good. I'm going to have to go back there without the kids so I can go in the shops! Anyone (female) want to go with me??

They had witches walking around signing autographs and talking to the kids:

Then we went to Artic Circle (like McDonalds) and got "square pumpkins" which is a kids meal, that has jack o lanterns and halloween stuff on the box and a Halloween flashlight (and hamburger and fries...speaking of nutritious). For some reason, the boys think it is so cool. Then we went to the Sleepy Hollow play. Before the show, they have activities for the kids of activities kids would do back in Washington Irving's time period. They also have a hay ride where someone tells a spooky story. The play is outside. Last year the weather was really cold, but this year it was perfect. I didn't take any pictures of Katherine, but she still sleeps most of the day. She is such a great baby. If she has her pacifier, she never cries.

The boys with Katrina Von Tassel:

The play:
Now it's midnight and Nathan is next to me playing with a calculator. Alex and Todd are alseep. I gave Katie a bath when we got home because she pooped out of her diaper all over. I like giving her baths. After her bath her hair gets all fuzzy. Goodnight!

I love the fun activities you do with your boys, and girl. Wish I could do them with you.
