the homeschool group campout

Last night we went camping in the Santaquin canyon mountains and it was so beautiful. We went with our homeschool group.

Alex is very good at cooking perfect marshmallows and cooked us all 500 each.

Storytelling:

There's lots of little boys in the group--lucky for Alex and Nathan!

Alex and Nathan with some of the kids:

Todd was the camp chef. He cooked a dutch oven dinner for all 80 people all by himself!

Baby Katherine is reaching up and stealing the boys' rocks they collected and put in this log crevice:

There was a stream by our campsite that was ice cold:

I gave the boys each a yogurt container to collect their rocks and things:

Katherine didn't know about the camping thing.

The boys, on the other hand, had the time of their lives:

The boys explaining how to roast the perfect marshmallows:

Thanks for the pics. Looks like your all had a great time. Camping with the family... doesn't get any better than that.

Love,
Dad
