Today Alex got a horse riding lesson. In history we were learning about the Native Americans and how getting horses changed their life. And we read a few horse books. So I thought it would be fun to try out riding horses. The kids have never done it before. Todd said they had to choose between the horse riding lesson or pottery though (dang money! We need to win that lottery!) Nathan chose pottery. Alex liked his horse lesson even though it was DANG COLD!!
Katherine REALLY wanted to ride the horse, too. All day yesterday she kept saying she wanted to ride the horse the next day too. So the nice teacher let her sit on the horse:).
