I told the boys they could stay for a week, but inside I wondered if it might be too long for them (or me). Then Alex said, "I want to stay for TEN days," and Nathan, my numbers kid said, "I want to stay for 5 plus 5 or 8 plus 2 days." (He LOVES numbers and counting and figuring out anything with numbers. Todd said he was like that as a kid too).
When I first asked the boys if they wanted to do this, they said, "awesome!" and gave each other high fives. Alex told me that on the plane that since I wouldn't be with him, he was going to order a forbidden COKE to drink. Look out Nana and Papa-- you may have a caffenated kid on your hands when they come off the plane!
Side note:
I saw this on Etsy and thought it was a great idea! I'm going to make my own Teddy Bear's Picnic basket for the kids for Easter, complete with the book, then we'll go on a picnic with their teddy bears. Sounds so fun! I need to have 10 more kids so that I always have a kid in the house. What would I ever do without kids in the house?!?!?!?!?!?! (me panicking)?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

We can't wait boys!! Only 2 more months! I hope we have good weather for you when you come, but we'll have tons of fun no matter what kind of weather we have-- and a pillow fight every night! :)
I know, just have 10 more kids!!!!!! :)
You are really brave! I also admire how you love having kids around so much. Maybe you could rub off on me!
