Happy 30th Birthday, Todd!

Here are 30 reasons why I love Todd:
1. He always does things to make me feel special.
2. He is my best friend. I feel like I can tell him anything and everything (and I do).
3. He is patient with me. Every day (every meal actually) when we were freshman at BYU in the dorms I put peas in his drink and he would drink it with peas in it. Poor guy.
4. He is forgiving.
5. He is great with our kids.
6. He is extremely smart. But not just "book smart"- he can figure things out and understand things and people and situations.
7. Of course I have to say that I am so lucky that he is such a great cook and is willing to be the cook in our family. He is so nice to always cook us such good food.
8. He is a hard worker-- he works hard at his job to provide well for his family.
9. He is a simple person. He never wants anything (except a laptop when he doesn't have one). He is happy with simple things.
10. He is supportive of me. When I went back to school, it was really expensive and he had to watch screaming babies but he did it for over 2 years.
11. He loves me. How do I know? He gave me the last eclair, and he let me keep Rocket.
12. He is a genuinely good person. He has a heart of gold.
13. He thinks of others (see number 11). He is a lot less selfish than me.
14. He is genuine. Nothing fake with Todd. What you see is who he is.
15. He is very talented. Anything and everything he tries he can do, and does well. (well, except being a salesman:) See number 14).
16. One of the things that I noticed in him when we met is that he is so kind.
17. He understands people really well. He gives the best advice. That's why I think he should be a counselor.
18. He is sensitive, and sensitive to others' feelings.
19. He is someone the kids and I look up to. Todd is Alex's idol.
20. He doesn't expect the house the be spotless. And when the mess gets out of hand, he is gentle and nice about it.
21. He supports me in homeschooling. He is even reading some homeschool books I asked him to and is going to a homeschooling conference with me next Sat.--I'm sure not his idea of a fun activity-- but he is doing it because it is important to me.
22. He is really good at shopping for sales and deals. He does the grocery shopping and can do it cheaply because he plans yummy meals around things that are on sale.
23. He was never taught how to be a "handy man" but has done really well at learning how to do stuff around the house- stuff I could never do. He has replaced toilets and put up light fixtures.
24. He is good with computers. It is so nice to live with someone who knows about blasted computers! And according to the kids, Todd is a superhero because he not only knows about computers, but he's also good at video games! It is often heard in the boys' prayers: "thank you that Daddy is good at computers."
25. When I ask him to change something that bothers me, he does. that's hard to do.
26. Except for hot tubs, Todd doesn't get grossed out easily. For example, he doesn't care if I wear make-up and he was happily there for the births of our children.
27. He tells me I'm pretty even when I'm not.
28. He tells me he loves me and gives me hugs.
29. He makes me want to be a better person just by who he is and being around him.
30. He loves God.
31. (one to grow on) He is a funny person and always makes me laugh!
32. (two to grow on) He is very gorgeous and sexy!
I could list a million other things, and there are other reasons I love him that can't be explained, but one thing is for sure: I love Todd!!!!
