Nathan is happy that it's election day; Alex said he is happy "that this conversation is over."
P.S. I told them the story about how when I was little, our dog Shanny ate our Thanksgiving turkey. Alex asked if my mom and dad cooked a new turkey. Nathan said "maybe they cooked the dog."
